turbo opinions

Next question suggestions on a turbo. Looking to get over 400 whp on pump and around 500 whp of e85, I want the absolute quickest spooling turbo. I'm running a t3 setup with a 5 bolt flange on the dp. I will be running a built 2.0, upgrade springs and retainers, gsc s2, and of course the normal supporting mods. tryn to stay away from anything fp because i'll need to buy another dp, 02 dump, and ix turbo line kit.

Dump the T3 set up in exchange of a twin scroll. I would recommend the BBK full and the HTA green on E-85. My goals are very similar, my priority is spool up above anything, don't go any bigger(you don't need it) get the right turbo for the application. You might want to add the new HKS BB turbo.

As far is staying away from FP because of the extra expenses.. well, the T3 set up is not very popular so you are the one that put yourself on that configuration to start with.

agreed ditch the t3 if you care about spool up like your saying. get either the new bbk b or fp hta green and you will meet your goals easy and get your fast spool. i agree you should have never purchased the t3 setup without researching first

I would recommend you contact Mike from AWD and ask about precision bb turbos.

There's no reason why you cant use a T3 setup to get what you want. The DBB options are probably your best bet in the HTA30R, PTE5857 or equivalents.
