I plan on using FIC 1450's with my black on E85 and a double-pumper. It *should* be close....

I will be honest, I have had nothing but problems with the Werks injectors on other vehicles, however I have no experience with them on an Evo.

The FIC's are tried and true, lots of support offered here for them as well as from the vendor, I'd probably say go that route

And I seem to recall at least two EVO owners who have experience with them have blown motors to show for it. These are pintle type injectors that I wouldn't recommend anyway, much less with E85. That particular design is very prone to fouling, which is a no-go with E85. The injector can become so compromised that it results in a lean mixture that grenades the engine, as has been illustrated here. A ball-type injector (e.g. FIC Blue Max, Bosch EV14, etc.) is a much better, safer option.

FYI

We actually don't stock the 1600cc injector for the 8/9 anymore. It has been a difficult injector for us to source and that has lead to it's disappearance from our line-up.

With the growing popularity of using high impedance injectors, by both tuners and customers, in cars originally equipped with low impedance, we are looking into the possibility of offering new E85 friendly sizes for the 8/9 in a high impedance injector, as well as larger sizes over stock for the gas guys.
