g/l I hope this info helps someone.
I checked all the plugs that are routed to and from the compressor and everything looked fine...I'm about to give up!

I also noticed that my compressor just sounds like it turns off and doesn't come back on till I start moving and the engine gets more air flow. If I pour water on my condenser the air temp drops immediately. When I'm moving the air temps will get all the way down to about 43-45 degrees in 113 degree weather. Once I come to a stop the air temps climb all the way up to 90+ degrees.

Anything come to mind?

I fixed the A/C!!!!!

Unfreakinbelievable...Somehow my condenser fan, the one on the passenger side, was spinning the wrong way and pulling the air towards the front of the car, both should be forcing air towards the rear of the car. I don't know how the f**k that could happen. I rewired the the fan to spin the other way and I have had no problems!!

... now. my compressor wont shut off. the clutch switch works, because if I pull the sensor by the refrigerant "eye" it will shut off, or if I pull the a/c compressor relay.
even swapped relays. but the compressor never shuts off on it's own. on a side note, it makes super cold a/c but the mileage sucks now.

The first thing I would do if having AC problems is swap in a new dual pressure switch.

pressure switch checks out ok....

ANYONE know what would cause the compressor to stay on, even when it's off?

I'm guessing a short somewhere, because the ground in front of the engine bay fuse box gets hot. THe compressor will shut off by pulling either the clutch relay or fuse or unplugging the pressure switch.

fixed the ground, (retapped, and put a new bolt in) but still no progress. I don't want to take it to the local dealer, because when the ford dealer took over, they got rid of all the mitsu mechanics and now have ford nimcompoops working on the mitsu's.

I would take it to a local shop that works just on A/C's. So you said you checked a bunch of things but did you check if they're is a constant 12+ volts to the clutch?? If not then I think you clutch stuck

how come nobody bother to hookup the a/c pressure gauge and see what the reading are? the gauge can tell you alot about your a/c system.

clutch works, because when I unplug H/P switch, or Relay, or fuse, the clutch disengages.
I haven't heard too many good reviews on local auto a/c shops.

I have hooked them up before, and it was working fine....

Here is the kicker, I had forgotten to replug the fan back in, when i replaced the condensor, the a/c had cycled normally before, now that I plugged the fan back in, the a/c doesn't cycle....

on a side note, I took the entire a/c control out today, and noticed... liquid, (maybe coffee?) damage. I cleaned it out, but the compressor still kicks on, when I plug the unit back in. I am going to attempt to see how much a new a/c control unit is from the local stealership on monday. I think that is the problem.
