Breaking- up

Took the car out tonight and everything seemed fine. Until it started cutting out under acceleration, like the spark plugs were bad. Which were changed about 4 weeks ago. This is happening in every gear around 4500-5000rpm's. Any insights or things to have checked would be appreciated. The performance shops around here are sketchy.

My car would do that when It hit fuel cut, make sure your not overboosting.

Also if you have a MBC turn it down just a little and see if the car continues to stumble like that

I would email dynoflash...but it seems odd that you have this problem all of a sudden. If you haven't had a spark plug failure or your gap was incorrect or a coilpack is going out(never heard of it happening like this). Possibly a bad tank of gas too...so hard to determine over the web

again, log and check with dynoflash rather than internet keyboard warriors

did you try resetting your ecu?

look close at the plug wires and plugs. I had a crack in the porcelain and it did this.

Everyone was right, it was the spark plugs. I don't know how they could be fouled this bad, the tips were orange. Changed them and it pulls fine now. I'm wondeing if running to much boost could cause that?

addendum

Just to update, in case anyone has similar issues. New plugs helped, but it started miss- firing again. Closed the spark plug gap and then got the PO300 CEL. Then Sunday at an Auto-x, all hell broke loose. Thought the engine was damaged and limped home. Got into shop, and it turns out the ignition coils were bad. Getting them replaced and hoping this finally resolves the problem.

Update: The shop replaced the coil-packs, and I'm still not getting getting voltage to cylinder 1They did a compressiion test and it came out fine. So they have to have another shop more versed on electrical/computer issues trying to diagnose whats going on. If anyone of you have any ideas I'd be glad to hear it and will pass it along. Also, when this is all untangled, I hope to be getting it re-tuned.
