Tranny sound weird
Tranny sound weird
Need help, my ride is EVO 8 04 RS, 30k miles on it, daily driving car.
I recently notice a weird sound coming from the tranny, the sound is like something is loose inside, but the weird thing is when the clutch is pressed the sound goes away and when I lift it the sound come back. When I turn on the air conditioning the sound is higher but when pressed the clutch the sound goes away.
I just change the transmition fluid 4 mouth ago with OEM Diaqueen Multi Gear Oil, the oil is new.
What could be the problem? could be the clutch or the transmition fluid, any ideas?

Actually I believe this is the sound that the stock clutch makes after it is worn down a little. The sound is the disc "chattering." Its like the twin discs or performance clutches just much less evident. I was told that this is no problem, I have the same thing.
Thanks for the replies
So is normal the sound? All yours evo do the same sound when turn the A/C on?
I took it to the workshop and they told me maybe the transmission has some damage or the fluid is too thin. I was very worry about it, I rarely do a quick lauch, never race the car, is a daily driving car.
