Should I worry about not having the edged beaded? I don't think anything would pop off since air is being sucked in. Any thoughts?

MSRP

45* coupler- 67.95
45* polished aluminum leg- 46.95
K&N 4" filter- 66.47

Total- 181.37 MSRP for materials

Cutting it to length, cleaning it up, and fitting it takes about a 1/2 hour. This is $35 based on shop rate. We use quality USA made materials, I am sure if you tried you could make it of something cheaper. God forbid someone make something quality and then try to profit.

Who said it included a filter? But yes, these intakes from ER are $150... Why LOL? Cusco, HKS, JDM stock replacements go for much more.

heres an intake I made recently. works on both 64mm and 84mm intakes. clamps only needed on turbo and filter. makes for a clean looking intake. silicon doesnt absorb as much heat as aluminum. with fan blowing right on intake this is a factor.

ebay aluminum 3.5 pipe $25
3-3.5 silicon 45 elbow. $25
3.5 elbow $25
ebay 3.5 nine inch filter $25

Did you silicone or glue the aluminum pipes into the black silicone bends? The reason I ask, is I don't see any clamps in between. I realize the aluminum pipes are inserted rather deeply, but is that enough to hold it together?

stays together without sealer or glue. intakes are under vacuum not boost.

94AWDcoupe that is a really nice looking intake. Thanks for the idea. For now I will run my Perrin intake pipe and get a 3" aluminum pipe along with the Perrin Sti filter (3.1") and see how that works out.
