When I did my forward facing setup I was told a civic condenser might work.

Somebody posted a pic of a civic condenser and pretended like it was something exotic and they were going to make it into some high end kit for a forward facing turbo compatible A/C kit.

I pointed out it was off a Honda civic and I got told I didn't know anything about A/C systems...

I guess I hit a nerve?

Well I guess if Honda civic A/C condensers are considered exotic I better get to the junkyard then...I'm gonna be rich!

Interested for sure!

You sir are a innovator! Front facing = most power, but no AC = death to driver in summer heat. If you make any progress please post up pictures and update thread.

How fast are you trying to go? Why do you want a foreward facing manifold?

You have more to consider than the a/c condensor. The use of an air filter on a car you are worried about having A/C on should be at the top of your list. We are the only ones offering a FF kit that uses a full sized air filter. Our kit also clears the a/c. I have no developed a half condensor but a Civic condensor and some work on your end would work.

It will be interesting to see how it cools.

I see 203-206F coolant temps with a Honda half width radiator. I can't imagine tossing a condenser in front of it would help any.

Wow I don't know what kind of Honda half width you are using but those temps are too high and not acceptable.

My car doesn't run anywhere near that hot, as a matter of fact I don't think it's ever seen 200 degrees in any condition. Driving down the road it runs too cool actually and I have to be careful how the warm up enrichment is set up so I don't fall back into it.

I'm looking a log now of vwjeff's car, he was running CBRD's half width, which runs hotter than ours does on the dyno. On a LONG 4th gear pull with the air only from fans on the dyno at 40 psi of boost the coolant temps went from 197 to 203 and that's the hottest log I have of the car. That is also running the stock water pump, Spal fan we use and a stock thermostat.

My car runs no thermostat at all and I run the electric pump, it stays too cold most of the time.

The new Fluidyne custom radiators we had built are kick *** pieces.
