In this image, what kind of hose do you need for the vacuum from the bov to the intake ? I have a hose with the Injen piping kit but had to cut it for some reason and now im trying to find a replacement but everywhere I go they tell me they dont have anything thats close to the rigidity and quality of the one given with the Injen kit... all they have is gaz hoses and they dont think its gonna do the job (it might melt or crack..)
So , where can I get a replacement?? I searched alot but cant find anything.
I finaly found a place where they can take care of my car in Canada
Its a Mitsu dealer and they have a rally team with 5-6 different evos ranging from 6 to X . They are 2 hours from home but I dont mind , its my only option.
After a quick inspection:
1st : 19 of the 20 lock nuts on the car were of the wrong size so they were slowly eating metal from my rims...(thin nuts without washers...) So there goes 100$ for a complete set of nuts. Luckily the rims were still OK.
2nd : I was wondering where the hell was my ACD fluid going... I kept putting fluid all week long without a spot anywhere in my driveway... So we flushed the T-Case and it was FULL of red fluid...so I got my answer. T-Case will probably need a rebuild unless its an external sceal
... My brother also brought his evo because of the death whine.... the T-Case was missing oil. When he changed his fluid about 6 weeks ago, the guy did not bleed the air out so a rebuilt is necessary ... I guess we can get a package deal if we send the 2 t-case together at shepherd
Ah well, now all I hope is that the ACD pump is OK. 5000$ in maintenance after 2 months with the car, talk about a lesson learned. Never buy a car if you are not 100% sure its in good shape. I took a chance and burnt myself.
. I hope everyhing will be fine afterward so I'll finally be able to appreciate my car which I havent so far.

This has been one of the craziest, wacked out posts I have ever read. No offense Canada, but WTF?? I am not mocking the creator of this post, but please use some common sense on this.
1) if you need help with stuff ask first, don't just do. Thats what boards like this are for.
2) LOOK BEFORE YOU JUMP!!! DONT EVER cut pipes or modify anything without getting an opinion from a person that knows the car and the parts you are using.
3) ALWAYS get a used car checked out by a mechanic before a purchase. You must have a Mitsubishi Dealer in Canada somewhere. They should be able to check the car for basic things, and check all the fluids. That could of caught your T/C problem right there.
I can go on and on. When you said your transfer case is all messed up and filled with "Red Fluid" my first guess is the person that had the car before you probably filled the T/C with Transmission fluid (ACD Fluid is filled with this) thinking that the ACD and T/C were the same thing and filled it with the fluid.
In this case, I would eliminate the ACD and run a locked 50/50 center dif, instead of re building the T/C but thats just me. Not many people know how to do the ACD delete and may not understand how and why this may be a good idea.
I know that Evo's are new to Canada, but they have only been in the USA since 2003. Us "Yankees" have a "knack" for cars. Americans love to tinker and mess with cars. So to our friends in the North, ASK QUESTIONS, use the net, use common sense, and you will be fine.

1- Im not doing anything without reading on the boards or without asking questions. I read ALOT and do ALOT of research.
2- My friend did indeed cut some pipes but it was only so I could drive the car till I receive my OEM bov.. it sure was not the best fitment in the world. I have the entire INJEN piping (intake + uicp + licp). The uicp is being put in the car this week since I received my OEM bov (hks bov does not fit with this kit) so I can finish the installation. Forget the HKS bov, delete it from your memory.
3- You probably havent read much of the post. I bought the car with this redneck setup and im trying to put it back on track. I changed ALL fluids right after buying the car so the ATF in the TC is coming from the ACD. ACD fluid leaks in the TC BIG TIME.
4- It took me 2 months to find some place to work on my car. Its a dealer 2 hours from where I live. The only reason they know the car is because they have a rally team with these cars (VI, VIII, IX, X). So there was no way for me to get it inspected before I buy it. I dont think the guy would have let me drive the car for half a day to get it inspected at the right dealership. All other dealers were totaly clueless about this car and im not kidding.
You need to buy a Tactrix Cable. www.limitless.co.nz
