Anyone have a map sensor go bad?

I have an aem one mounted directly to my magnus intake. It has taken a crap and is reading 16lbs of boost at idle.

I have been reading on a few forums (honda) that they will take a crap if mounted directly to the manifold. Anyone ever have it go bad?

I'm thinking about connecting a hose barb to a new one and mounting it away from the engine.

DO NOT mount a map sensor upsidedown! it will fill with oil and thats all she wrote. mine went bad right away when i installed the magnus. i pluged the hole and tapped a new one on top in front of the TB. got a new 5 bar. problem solved.
