I had a post about this before but it has changed a little..... In 1st-5th it holds at 15psi but in 6th it holds at 19psi. I just got a mbc but wanted to see if i could figure this out first so i dont mess anything up. Thanks in advance

 

6th gear=higher load on the engine, which in turn, means higher boost.

 

i understand that but what i don not understand is why if stock boost is about 19lbs why im getting 4lbs less....

 

Did you do a boostleak test? Like Testudio said higher gear = higher load more boost. Did you install your MBC already or are you running just off wastegate?

 

yes i did a leak test, im still running off the stock boost control solenoid. I have not installed the mbc yet

 

If you stilll have your stock DV on hand then reinstall it as the Greddy BOV may be affecting the scene. Oh yeah, and get a retune while you are at it.

 

i bought it like that so i do not have the stock dv. Im going to go over everything once more i guess then put my mbc on and go from their
