front oxygen sensor location vii

guys, im struggling to find a simple picture of the oxygen sensor location on a evo vii and if it's possible to remove from the top of the car?

i checked stickies.

if its the same place as the 8s, stand in front of the car, look on the left side of the o2 housing, down near the downpipe flange, and it's right there. i can get mine in/out from the top of the car, but most of my stuff around it isn't stock....

Thank you I found it going to get a oxygen sensor socket and see how I go , I'm worried because it's on a funny angle

the car has two 02 sensors?

yes it has 2 oxy sensors. The front one is on the O2housing and should be replaced at 60K im prety sure. When I removed mine i just cut the wires then used a socket to get it off. Its much easy to get a new one in then it is to take the old one out.

hmm i have my wideband in my 02 housing and my 02 sensor in my test pipe?

Wideband should be that close to the turbo, I think 8" away minimum is the recommended distance. Most people put it at the rear of their downpipe, before the cat.
