You probably are still using the oem pcv and running high boost. Check your pcv. I think i read that you used a spring mod to keep the dipstick from popping out. Thats a band aid fix. Air is still entering your crankcase from IM under pressure.

Spring mod is a joke. Get a proper check valve, your dipstick should stay put.

brand new PCV. so its not that. I was gonna just get the Buschur catch can setup, since it recirculates back into the pan anyways and will help with the blowby if the new motor has it. I dont care if it has blowby or not honestly, as long as the oils going back into the pan.. I have no complaints with my prior 2.3 it held up to whatever i threw at it ........ its just no motor will run on no oil lol.

Here's an idea. Take off your pcv valve. Connect it to a compressor and test it at different boost levels. 15 -20-25-30-40psi. It would be interesting to see what boost levels it starts leaking.
To make it more fun attach a ballon at the other end.

It would be a good test to see how good the OEM pcv valve is. I might just buy one and test it myself for the he'll of it.

which one do you use? or do you use a catch can setup? I could do that i have a decent compressor. that sounds kind of fun actually

I use a grainger high psi check Valve plus saikou Michi dual catch can setup.

I don't think anyone has taken the time to really test the oem pcv's limits.

Most high hp(non daily driver) cars just plug it up. Or just plug it and re-route it so the air intake provides vacuum for both the breather and rear pcv system.

I Want to do the test so we know what it can handle.

The PCV closes under boost ALL THE TIME! It wont leak with more pressure on the back of it pushing closed. That is why you need to upgrade the valve cover breather. Many people use much larger 10 or 12an vents on the valve cover running to a catch can. A catch can that then drains to the oil pan is a very nice setup.

Why would you think that? It is just aerated oil coming out of the cylinder head. That would be like not wanting the oil from the turbo back in the engine. If it was bad then why do MANY people including Buschur make catchcans that return to the crankcase? I think on this topic you are misinformed. Keeping oil in the engine is way better than losing it.

My motor ships today !!!!!!!!! Buschur power!

Also the price was very acceptable. Parts only, no labor. They stood
by their product even when it wasn't their fault. This goes to show
how good they care about their customers!
