Got a weird problem with tranny..need some advice.

Recently I noticed that when I'm standing still, push down clutch and put it in first my car jerks forward a little bit while I'm still holding down the clutch. It doesn't start rolling or anything like that but it jerks forward a few inches.Do I need to adjust the clutch pedal or what? I bled the system 2 months ago If that makes any difference. What would you guys recommend I do?

Forgot to mention that after I hold down the clutch the first time I can pull it out of gear and put it back to first without the jerking. But if I release the clutch then push it back in and try first gear it will jerk. So basically it jerks forward 1 time after the clutch is pushed in everytime.

Anyone else experience this? Besides this, I have no other problems with my clutch. It feels strong and grips. It is 2 years old tho, holding up on a 35r. It's an act street clutch I believe. I guess I'll try adjusting the pedal, just not sure which way. Should I make the throw longer or shorter?

well i adjusted the clutch rod clockwise and got rid of the "clutch hanging" but now the engagement point is really high. after 2-3 inches the clutch is open and got ALOT of traver after that. is there anything else i can do? if i turn the rod counter clock wise to have engagement further down will it cause the "clutch hanging" to come back?

Try to push the clutch 1 inch before the end and get to the first gear.
Does your car jerks forward?

clutch engagement should be closer to the floor than 1 inch in.

Yea it did..I adjusted the rod clockwise and it doesn't do it anymore. Only problem is the engagement point is up so high now..after it engages I got A LOT of travel to the floor.
Guess it's time for a twin disk
