500 HP with FP red and 93 octane?

I have a IX with full bolt ons Intercooler ,uicp, licp ported Im , ported Exhaust Manifold , 3 in exhaust, 1000 cc injectors with a ported FP red. Currently I have stock block and stock cams and made 403 on Buschurs dyno. Is it possible to make 500 hp on 93 with a red on a mustang dyno?
How much hp from built block?
How much hp from tubular header?
How much hp from cams?
I was thinking and that always gets me in trouble. So what does anyone else think?

the built block wont give you as much HP but is more for reliability. The cams will give you the biggest HP gains. The tubular header might give you a better spool but not HP.
500hp on a red on pump gas is going to be quite difficult. I have seen people make 450ish all!

93

I'm trying to keep it on 93, I know with e 85 I can hit the goal, but I want daily driver ability. I can't drive it when the snow is a foot and a half deep but I would like to be able to go anywhere and not worry about where the e 85 is.

huh?
it's the complete opposite.
Tubular manifold will lose spool, and increase top end.
Same with an aftermarket intake manifold, Magnus V5 etc.

500whp on 93 with FP Red is hard, but i'm pretty sure it's been done before.
I'm aiming for 480whp out of my setup.

Cheers, Mike

To the OP: I think that there is currently a thread over on the Dyno Tuning & Results forum about a IX making 490 Dynojet on pump gas. That car had a built 2.0L motor with a ported head, S2's. Magnus, SD, an O2 dump, and a ported FP Black running at 29#. I doubt that you would see much more than 440-450 with the FP Red...everything else being equal, on the same dyno.

I don't think that just by adding cams, headers and a built(higher comp? ported head?) block you'd leap from 403 all the way up to 500 on Buschur's dyno if you were to keep your present turbo and the mods listed in your opening post. Especially you won't be doing it on 93 octane gasoline.

Waste of money sell the red slap a t3 6262 or a 3586 and there you go and some.Trying to make that much power on the red with the stock block is the biggest waste of money.

You sir are wrong, most true sch10 1.5" pipe manifolds you will see gains of around 20hp

The manifold i built did not lose any spool and made 26 extra HP and 20tq. You can get good gains from a well made manifold.

Someone made 488 on a red at Buschur last winter on 93. I made 464 there last fall with a red. That's 500+ on a DJ.

you will need to be fully built out to even sniff 500 on that aggressive dyno to be honest. im on 93 i will crack 500 easy but im built out and on a fp black. My friend just had his car built there on a 2.3 fp red and came close on the whp shattered the tq at least. 486whp 504tq something like that. so you need almost everything ot even stand a chance. he was on e85 I think on that pull aswell.

Really? 486whp and 504tq seem like 93oct numbers to me for a 2.3 and a red. That's my current setup actually...Ill be happy making 500tq. Not so focused on making over 500whp.

Dual map switching is your friend. I have that and the Tephra v7 mod for exactly this reason. Read up. E-85 is the single best mod I have ever done to my car, the power is great, and with the dual map switch anywhere I can't find ethanol, I just flip the switch and fill her up on pump, no problem.
