For those bashing the eBay oil coolers, stay away from the generic ones but there are also a lot of setrab cores floating around on there that are fantastic.

You might find a good price on a setrab, but its probably been off a car that now has tiny bearing fragments stuck inside the core, lol. You just never know. Buy it new from a reputable source and be done with it. a b&m is about $70 or so for oem size, very similar (hint hint) to what the stm kit uses, or spend a bit more for a setrab unit, and you can have a decent oil cooler kit for under 200. no reason to pay the high dollar hks ripoff, or at the same time trust your engine to some ebay crap.

Thanks for the link! Our kit utilizes a Setrab cooler which is among the best available and includes SS mounting brackets all for what we feel is a pretty competitive price

Chris (MAP) - I like that you are using Setrab in your kit. Have you ever added a cooler above the FMIC and run it inline to the OE cooler ? I would think for track guys, this would be the ticket.

I can't say that we have, however the cooling from this upgrade alone is substantial

Is upgrading to larger oil cooler worth or does oem do the job for high horsepower?
