oil cooler and cvt cooler?

what is the difference between a oil cooler and the rrm cvt cooler? other than "duh" one cools oil and the other cools cvt fluid. I want to know the main differences in the construction of each for their application.

Honestly, I don't think there is a difference. The RRM cooler IS an oil cooler as far as I know. From the pics I've seen it just looks like a cooler, some oil lines, hose clamps, and connectors. They threw kit together in a matter of weeks, so I'm sure you could DIY yourself something similar or better.

thats what i was thinking, something cheaper and more effective than the rrm kit. It really just looks like an oil cooler, used to cool cvt fluid.

so conclusion, there really is no difference. RRM over charges about 100+ dollars for their cvt cooler, i bought a b&m supercooler same specs as the RRM one for 70 shipped to my door with all fittings and hoses.
