Weird grinding noise from the rear

Okay So I have been having this problem since I got my Evo V . When I first start the car up and drive it, it's makes no noise then when I get about 20-30 feet the car make this loud *** noise from the rear (seems like left rear wheel), when I completely stop the car than take off again the noise goes away for good. But If I speed up the noise gets louder and won't go away until I completely stop the car. I tried searching but got nothing, I have very little knowledge on all-wheel drive set ups so I am completely in the dark on this one, any help would be appreciated.

I haven't checked the brakes yet. It seems weird to me that the car only make this noise after I first crank, I will drive for like 20-30 feet then it will make this weird noise from the rear. But other than that it never makes the noises. If I drive extremely slow after I crank up the car it won't make the noise at all. If it help the ABS light come on after driving for more than 20 miles but I have no clue if it is related to the noise or not.

yea i hear ya man, i was just basing it off a very similar issue i had with my car and it turned out being the pads were shot. id just check your rear diff fluid and everything under there to make sure everything is going accordingly, no binding/rubbing etc.
