Why not just send in your oil after 3 - 5K intervals and see what the analysis tells you ?? I'm sure with a good oil that 5k mile intervals is more than fine (just a guess though) for a DD.

I changed mine roughly every 3k, sooner sometimes because of mod changes.

I did not do anything differently, I have heard recommendations to change it more often though, but take that with a grain of salt.

DD'ed my car for 26k miles, through rain, lots of snow too. Corn juice half those miles, 60 miles a day at least.

Would still be DDing it too if I had it running.

There is another thread about this where a number of reputable places chimed in including AWD Motorsports, you should do a search for it, it was a very recent topic.

I've ran E85 for 3 yrs + while being daily driven in 90% city driving. 4,500 mile intervals while running AMSOIL 5W-30 and Oem Mitsu oil filter.

You really have to be careful with e85 as it is harder on oil than gasoline is. I do not daily drive my car so instead of changing at a milage interval i try to change every 2 months, or when my oil begins to have a faint alcohol smell to it.

there is no one who has tested the oil to build a baseline for their specific situation you cant use data from different cars to come to a conclusion for your specific case, i test my oil on E85 you cant use the data because your car might be very or slight different. although to be on the safe side use a high quality synthetic and drain at 3k would be plenty conservative

you need to get your own UOA and that will educate you on how often YOU can/need drain.

1200-1500 miles. From what I understand, E85 tends to ruin the oil sooner than normal unleaded 93 octane. 10w-30 (15w-50 in summer) Mobil 1 / K & N Filter used here. But then again...I am someone who will bend over backwards to keep my car in what I think is top shape.
