My car seems to be misfiring around 4000 plus sometimes intermittently trying to see if it load base but doesnt seem to matter 2gear or 5th. Check all fuel components replace fuel filter. Car is on spoolin up cop (whats the best way to check these).also cars is on aem, no maf,check motor timing spark plugs ect. im leaning to a coil maybe acting up it seems to do the same thing that the stock coils did before i replaced them. Boost leak tested car checked out good. Any ideas....Thanks

Nobody has experienced any misfire issues, or nows the specs on spoolinup coils

Found water in spark plug holes from rain wonder if it could have cracked the ceramic or made a coil go bad...looking for a factory hood rain tray.
No wires in car, thanks guys

I am bumping your thread and asking you where you found a replacement fuel filter? and how you changed it?

Or are you just talking about the net type filter on the end of the pump?

I got the filter from carquest I just replaced the top of the sending unit.

The breakup seems to be the coil plate is warping to were the coil is a thousandths off of theplug wants it breaks up i pull of and push hard down on each coil and make sure all hardware is tight and it goes away for awhile.

get copper plugs, get the 8's they are one step colder then stock.. make sure you gapp them also

I know this is old tread but I got same coils and my car does same yes there was rain but no water there stile misfire bad on all gears so what would be the solution ?
