Which cams to go with? GSC2, Kelford, JUN, Tomei
Your much better off asking a tuner. With gears you can move the powerband around but as far as the pro's vs. Cons im not sure.
Have you considered cosworth M2s? They might not make the power of S2s but you can use the stock valvetrain if you don't go over redline. If you want added peace of mind with any cams, stiffer valve springs are cheap insurance.
It sounds like a lot of responded people like the GSC2s and Kelfords. I will take the BR 272s and JUN 272s off my list since I heard they were very similar and not good for autocrossing.
1 vote so far for the Forced Performance 4Rs.
I also heard the Cosworth M2s were good too.
I heard that HKS 280s were good too.
No mention of the Tomeis yet?
So far, I am still leaning towards the GSC2 274s with BR/ Supertech dual springs and titanium retainers. Also, AEM timing gears in case I need adjustments to the powerband. I do not want to feel stuck since I am not doing the install. I will keep checking the forum for further ideas.

I know multiple people with each of these cams. When looking for my cams... i took info from all of them, and also from many multiple knowledgable tuners/builders. Overall... S2's. All good cams.. but i see that the S2's outperfrom the others... hope this helps
Either GSC S2's or Kelford 272
You dont see anyone recommending BC cams because they are not that great.

Interesting question since you have a 35R and say you intend to autocross. A 35R is HUGE for autocross, and is far below its ideal efficiency at autocross speeds. The ideal cam for a 35R for TA vs. Autocross (35R just isn't ideal for autocross) could be very different. This could mean you may want a cam that will help counteract this, but that probably means you will lose some of the 35Rs potential up top. On a road course if you're staying at higher average speeds and RPM, you may be able to get away with a cam that takes a bit more advantage of upper end. I don't know which cam will be the best for both or either, but just food for thought while choosing. I was torn between the first 3 on your list and took what I got for a great deal. Your needs may be even more specific, so think about where you're going to be spending the most time and where you want them to benefit you the most.

So far it looks like GSC2 274s and AEM timing gears (in case I need to adjust the powerband) get my vote!
I will keep checking this thread for more information until I decide and order my cams.
Thank you
