S2's just cannot be beat! FP makes great cams, but if you have an VIII and can find the Jun's they are def a great cam for TA, but with the new revised S2's it's hard to beat them for the money.

It would depend really on whether or not you want to swap your valves I would think. There's not tooo much of a selection out there that allow you to keep them stock. I personally like the HKS272s, they pack some pretty good power and allow you to keep stock valves/springs. Only issue I've run into is the cold start seems to have a low fuel pressure but goes away after like 3-5 seconds. Good luck

I ran in to that problem - Then they threatened to sue me when they said I was sharing "private" information and tech support from them(which did not help) - I posted it on a forum trying to find a solution. F**k Kelford. The solution to my knock problem was BF272 cams. Gained 28/17 tq with zero other changes. And far less knock prone.

Thats because brian crower cams blow ***.

Spec wise, they are using essentially the same lobe centerlines as the FP4R cams. Lift is almost the same between them as well. The duration is also very similar, but the GSCs are listed at 1mm instead of 0.050" so a direct comparison isn't possible.

the new s2's are 228 @ .050".

I want to see a side-by-side comparison of the Kelford 272 and GSC S2 on a stock-turbo car with full bolt-ons.
