I did not feel that the .63 was choking up top but I was only boosting 30psi.

We are situated +1500m above sea level. I went with the .82 to free up some back pressure in the system.

At that boost level I feel keep the .63
Even if going up to 35psi boost the .63 might suffice but I can only confirm once we re-dyno.

I do think if you want top end power and still in the prcess of specing the turbo then .82

I will update once we slap the car on the dyno (will do a base pull before the Haltec is installed) this should give an indication of .63 vs .83

In actual terms what is an "SC61" ? I have a bad feeling that means something with a 61mm inducer compressor wheel .
No offense but it hard to read turbo details when people quote compressors and turbines by their minor diameters instead of their major diameters .
Trim sizes can vary considerably changing minor diameters for the same family of wheel .

Also by 0.63 0.82 are you talking about GT30 turbine housings or the older T or TB series ones ?

A .

Haha, Car is still running strong - it picked up about 70whp with the .82 and the Haltech Platinum... we just upgrading the tb to the 70mm FB at the moment...

Tyrone doesnt mind the difference in response as the car is built for high rpm power and highway driving... (it hasnt been to a track because we fear for the stock rear GSR diff at current power levels)

I'm running the same turbo 6262 with a .63 on a 2.3L - I wouldnt go to a .82 because I dont have the same rev range as a 2.0L / 9500rpm.

I think for a street car that requires some solid mid range - the .63 is big enough and can make 600-700hp.
