what competition clutch stage should i get?
Mikey
well worth the money though for real. I would of never, I mean NEVER messed with any other clutch. Do it right the first time!
and the exedy hd is a breeze to daily drive. get a used on for pretty cheap and rebuild it. take your time and save.

I have the comp stage 4 and am making 450hp/435tq and its holding fine and shifting is nice the only complains I have is the harsh engagement everytime I don't engage fast enough it jerks other than that its a good clutch so far
I don´t care if the pedal of clutch it´s hard, I use my car only for drag, not DD.
... my goals are 450- 500 whp max!!!!!I think comp clutch stage 5 it´s enough!!! maybe, we can ask people of comp clutch, what they think about that!
Why are there people saying these Cc Stg 3 and up won't support anything above 400whp or tq??? I am pputting 500/400 to mine and it grabs awesome. People that complain about noise other the jerkiness of it are way to picky. And need to take Good with the bad. My car is more of a weekend warrior. With spirited driving. I haven't launched it much at all. And put many miles on it. But there are many other people putting the same power numbers to these with great results. HeLl, look at English racings reviews on the stg 2. ThEir putting bigget numbers to it and still boast about it.
Comp stage 2 will work just fine IMHO Lucas from English just did a review on it as well as the unsprung stg2 and had great things to say. I personally run te sprung stg2 from comp and have nothing but good things to say, excellent daily driving manners, I do push it hard gifting at 8500 at times with no lock out what so ever (450/350 hp/tq) it shift like butter still after over 9k miles. I think an exedy twin is overkill and pointless unless you make a lot of tq an race all the time but that's just my opinion. Check out the review that Lucas wrote
^^Yup. I shouldve wrote stage 2 on up instead. I think they had issues with the old full Kevlar face on the stg 3s and maybe that would be the reason for some negative reviews as Kevlar can glaze over. But that doesn't mean It's shot. I think it was said somewhere that Cc themselves said that any of these singles wouldnt be adequate for over 400whp. That is just not true and I highly doubt Cc said that. These clutches have been proven to hold 450+ time and time again. Ya a twin disc would probably be the all around Good choice. But for a 450-500whp 400-450tq street car that isn't launched hard constantly or autox these clutches are a great choice for someone on a budget. This is all my opinion. Take it for what u think It's worth. Whoever u may be.
