FP Black on evo 8?

FP Black on evo 8?

Can someone help me on the J pipe situation of the 9 stock framed turbo with the use of an 8 j pipe hitting the starter?! How are guys getting around this? Probly a simple answer but i can seem to find one.

You need an evo 8 to 9 conversion kit, which includes a j-pipe, oil lines, etc. I think they are now $200 from FP.

Nope all you need is the IX J Pipe or one that Buschur or FP sells the VIII lines will fit 100% w/slight tweak.

Heck you really don't even need the J pipe if you feel like heating the VIII one up and bending it out of the way of the starter a little.

Buy the kit from fp...it includes the new oil feed line that is highly recommended to use with the fp turbos

well thats the thing, the turbo i'm getting of evom'r has the upgraded steel line from the filter housing so that shouldn't be the issue, and he has the 9 j pipe that i will now be getting off him too. thanks again for the quick responces and ending my stress at work today... always can count on evom!!
