very impressive SFP. I do like your great prices and everything, perhaps in a few months I will be looking for a kit. I am not very familiar with your company at all do you have any history on projects or known things I can look at or are you new to the area. In no way am I doubting your companies skills, but I always like to research a company before purchasing items.
..... I love the price of stage 1, but than it leaves me to the fact that I would need to rebuy a lot of stuff if I want a bigger turbo and what not. ...

You can find information about our company on our website www.sfp.net You will see that Frank Smith, the owner, has been in this industry for over 15 years. He has extensive knowledge about imports, domestics, and rotary engines. Right now Frank runs a stock bodied, full interiored street class FWD turbo 99 Civic SI with powersteering and all the power options and sunroof. (only mod is a roll cage). the cars current best e.t. and trap speed is 10.2@149mph. That's right, 149mph out of a full weight civic coupe. The car comes out of the hole on slicks at a conservative 1.7X 60footer to preserve the driveline. We have since beefed up some of the driveline components and have developed a clutch release system to lessen the harshness at launch to allow the car to come out the hole smoother. We took the car to moroso and 2nd pass cut a 1.71 60footer and ran 10.29@133 lifting at the top of third gear. (car broke up a small bit so he lifted for safety) That pass was on target to be a 9.6-9.7 pass. We will be going back to the track soon and expect sub 10 second passes.
YO!!!!

6:30 tonight at Twilight Performance www.twilightperformance.com
we are going back to the dyno either saturday or sunday.for the high boost runs on aquamist...(this is the only AWD dyno in south florida) didnt have enough dyno time to dial it in properly for the high boost settings...but i can tell u one thing....if the low boost runs were any indication...we are gonna put a LOT more power down than before...the car runs so smooth im amazed it has a stand-alone...on the low boost settings 14 pounds it made i think...like 330 to the wheels and the power came on so fast....much faster and sooner than before...this will be really fun....if they have available time on saturday we will be back...if not sunday we should have numbers....
u guys should come down to witness the runs for yourselves...meet the sfp guys...if I know people are coming Ill bring the soda/beer/vodka/absinthe/needles/rolling paper etc...ahahahah kidding il bring sodas...i think meeting frank and seeing him tune the car will show u the degree of knowledge these guys have and you will see why we are posting these nice numbers...we can also use a few witnesses
Well... If this guy has a street legal civic that ran 149Mph...
He's either...
1) Lying
2) The messiah
I helped my friend build a 00 Si...we made close to 300Whp and ran 103 in the quarter. 149 is comprable to an well dialed in 8 Second car. Eitherway... thats unbelievable.

This is a registered legal to drive car in florida. Is it practical and do we take it out for joyrides? No, it's got to much invested in it and compete's NOPI and NHRA sport compact events. But technically it's a full chassis'ed, full interiored, with power steering sunroof and A/C 00 SI that has one hell of a monster engine in it. I believe Frank is one of the premier tuners in the country for import cars. He name just isn't thrown around because he hasn't been vocal about his abilities and accomplishments in the past. I work here at SFP because I believe this. I wouldn't work here if I believed otherwise. Frank amazes me on a daily basis and when he speaks, my brain is like a sponge. I think I've learned more about these cars in the last 4 months than I had in 7 years of modding and playing with them prior. Did I mention that Frank is also a rotary expert, has the national record for N/A HP and nitrous HP on the Viper, builds low 9 second domestic street cars? Check out this twin turbo mustang we built and tuned. It makes 829wHP and runs 9.0's in the 1320 reliably. It's a mild engine build running 14psi on pump gas. We're now beefing it up more and he's gonna run big boost on it. The owner lives in the Key's in Fl. and drives it to work on occasion on nice sunny days. Must be nice.
Also look what else we work on.
