I agree cams really do make a big difference on an VIII. OP did you pick up a turbo yet?

 

idk if this will help you or not. but i had very minimal bolt ons on my car when it was tuned. ive had the Red on my 100% stock motor for almost 2 years now (in Feb will be 2) and its been great. im running 27-28psi and the turbo speaks for itself. t pulls hard as hell and great spool and awesome track turbo. as for the Black i read somewhere that it makes an average of 50whp more than the Red with same bolt ons.

just like everyone has mentioned, def get cams. im starting to add a handful of parts to my car and am looking to make another 75whp. even with my car makin 375whp now im running 12.0 at the tracks. so think about it. good luck with your build

 

Im doing it with meth and making some good power but Im on borrowed time. Im building it in the spring time. 500whp is perfect for me but im building it so I know its bullet proof.
