Spark plug testing/info
TTT again! I just installed IW24's. They are gapped at .65mm btw, I didn't change them. The power delivery is so much more linear, you can hear AND feel the difference in the spooling all the way to the redline.
Highly recommended esp. if you are rolling more boost than stock... which I have a feeling I am since the turboback install.
Gotta get a gauge...
edit: corrected 22 -> 24

You might even want to try the IW24's, it's one heat range cooler. It seems to work just fine even for daily driving (no fouling), of course most of us also frequently run the car pretty hard so... Should be fine for pretty much everyone here.

Thanks for the great post. I am runing ATP turbo kit and my boost is around 21 to 24 in some cases. I was thinking about buying IW24 8 to try and see how they work. Do I need to gap them? What is the TQ spec for our spark plugs?? thanks
photographs of all the aforementioned plugs after use would honestly be more valuable than your impressions.
that's how you tune the heat range of a plug. I'm having trouble imagining how you were fouling a 7 and not a colder 8 heat range assuming you changed nothing else. so there's my theory: you changed something else. same for the pinging IMO.
