In all honesty, from the details that you've give sounds.......in all honesty....ridiculous. If a guy knows this little about 4G's what is he doing having one built....

 

Now that you add in hes leaving in 4 days I wouldnt buy it on that alone. Hell be long gone before you have time to find anything wrong with it.

 

2.4 and 2.3 rod ratios are the same. That custom 102 mm crank motor must have an ever further rod ratio.

 

Buy it and part everything out except the block you should get more back.

 

2.4L are great motors man made 800hp on mines built it myself.

 

thanks again to everyone for the help...i decided to pass and keep looking for a diff motor. with out your help i probably would have bought the motor and been 2k in the whole with a hunk of sh*t in my garage. thanks again
