Evo 4 motor build
Please forgive if this is in the wrong place but don't know where else I could put this:
I'm looking to rebuild my motor but want to make sure I have all the parts. The last motor build was 6 years ago and that was with a SR20. I ordered the manual but won't be here for another 2 weeks (since I live overseas.) When I build the motor, I want to make sure I have all new parts as possible. I need your help to let me know if I am missing something.
I will have a professional next to me for help but he isn't here yet. He will tune my car since I have a FCON Pro V. I'd just like to hear from other peoples thoughts.
This is what I have so far (looking for about 500 HP max. Probably won't go that high but its just nice to know it can for safety reasons.):
HAVE NOW
- Eagle Crankshaft
- Eagle H rods
- Mahle Pistons
- ACL main and rod bearings (I know you're suppose to measure with plasti guage but it came with the whole kit. Bought from MAperformace.com.)
- ACL thrust bearing
- ARP head studs
- ARP main studs
- Tomei pon cams
- Tomei sprockets
- crower spring and retainers
- Greddy timing belt
WILL BUY LATER
- Cosworth Head gasket
- Valves stems intake/exhaust
- valve guides
- stem seals
- valve spring seats
- oil pump
- water pump
- oil squirters
- lifters
- timing belt tensioner (auto tensioner)
- All new gaskets
- rocker arms
- Aftermarket crank pulley
- new belts
- crankshaft position sensor
- cam position sensor
- retainer locks
Please let me know your thoughts and other parts I might need or don't need. Again, I just like to hear other peoples thoughts. I am open to anything.
Thanks

Im building a 4 block as well. Your build looks good, I went with a OEM Mitsubishi master gasket set- very good quality. Your builds pretty similar to mine except I went the 2.3L route, we have similar power goals too.
Any thoughts on what turbo you're going to use? Oh, and look into removing your balance shafts!

Master gaskets and balance shafts. Take note . My pistons are .5 mm over so I'll be going above 2L a little. For the turbo well...... I live in the land of safety and having a external waste gate is a no no during inspections. I'd have to do a lot to make it pass. Unless I reroute it back into the downpipe...... Mmmmm.
I was thinking of the Tomei arms to keep it actuated. But if I decide to go the other route..... It probably be a TD06 20G or maybe even a 25G. I just need something a few more HP that can spool quickly. This car is my daily driver as well but I touge with it.

Also, if anyone has any recommendation on where I can buy the stock parts please let me know. I'd like to buy elsewhere before buying from Japan. It gets costly out here.
