Question on Manley piston ring gap?????

Hey-
I am confused with the info about ring gap from Manley- from the sheet (and the web site), it states that the ring gap is larger on the top ring, smaller on the 2nd ring.....I have built a few motors, and this is opposite of what I have previously done with other motors/manufacture's. I went to the Wiseco site (from pistons that I have used from different builds) and it shows the exact opposite- Any thoughts??

On my JE's I had ring gap @ .017" on the top, .019" 2nd ring

cosworth and total seal rings are the same, larger tops than the 2nd ring...
bear in mind that once it's up to operating temp, the top ring will always be tighter than the 2nd because of the extra heat...

personally i'd go with what they recommend, and if you aren't sure then call them.
