More pics!!!!

These are of the final install. Some of the parts are not on yet( like the front bumper). The car is running and we will start tuning the aem on thrusday. In the one pic you can see how the intercooler pipe is bolted down using the stock bolt locations. The car counds pretty wild with just a dp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree, looks damn nice! and also a very clean install!!

Talked to Nick couple times on the phone... can't wait to get mine! He is a really nice guy and easy to deal with.... In my opinion, that's the best turbo kit i ever seen for evo....

We had some time today for some tuning. Here is a pic of the manifold after the day was done. To give you a idea of how quik the turbo spools, we have 5psi at 3000 rpm and 25psi by 3600 to 3800rpm. ITs not exact numbers but by the end of the week the car will be tuned and we can give exact numbers. Its a beast at 25 psi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes truely a beast
But another important thing to note. The "new" box from AEM has shown NO isssues with the igntion as previously stated by some other threads. We were close to 30 psi and had absolutely no issues on the stock ignition, plugs and gap. It seems the fix is right on target.

Will you be offering an equal length manfiold and jet hot coating? Also, at what rpm were you seeing 30psi at? I really like the RnR one, but your turbo looks like a very promising combo. By the way those are nice spool up numbers. That's exactly around the spool up I am looking for, sub 4000rpms.

Thanks,
Barry

the kit looks great. the only thing i'm questioning is the manifold design. wouldnt it have been better with an equal length? oh yea when is the shop opening in jersey? i would love to stop by one day and take a look around.

I appreciate your questions and let me first start off with this. I have mentioned earlier in this thread that the turbo we use is a custom unit. It is a unit that we have found surpasses even many ball bearing options out there. It doesnt have a "part number". You will see soon that Many other "kit makers" will use this exact "type" soon.
The design of our kit as a whole is a sign of proper form , function and reliabiltiy. It all works together to provide the most efficient power available to date for an aftermarket induction system.
The manifold is of "shorty" design. This design is superior to many others for spool up characteristics and expansion qualities. We have done equal length manifolds in the past. They are much more time consuming, expensive and wiegh a ton more. It also has not shown ANY positive (in comparison to our short runner) advancements in power potential. At least not for the street. We design our "kits" so that they all compliment each other and work fantastic.
You see with the way we have our manifold setup the exhaust energy is harnessed and then disspered immediately. You'll notice the position of the runners and the length of them There is a reaon for this. Along with the firing order of the engione we produce the exact energy needed when we need it to spool the turbine faster than a fully equal length manifold will. The power we make is explosive. You will see if you buy the kit, how it performs. Why do i say this? because it is almost unbelievable how quickly we can get the turbo to spool to 30 psi. OUR WORST pull ended in 29 psi at 3900 rpm!! Our daily driver will reach full boost (20 psi) at 34-3500 rpm. This is a monster turbo. The car flys at 20. You couldnt imagine it at 27 - 29 psi.
This is all on pump gas, stock ignition, AEM ems and stock block and internals.
We have many members of this forum that we are installing this kit for. Many of them are in the business and understand function. That says alot. You are welcome to ask any questions you may have. I'll do my best to answer everything i can.

One more thing i did not mention in the above post , i'm sorry. The Jet coating. We can and will do it for any customer. BUT we will not warranty the manifold. WHY?
Glad you asked, jet coating will "contain" the heat too much. SS needs to breathe and expand. The coating will eventually over time heat and peel off. This also puts undo stress on the manifold. My partner Andy can go into specifics more with you if need be.
But in our honest opinion it is not a good idea. Again using the high quality materials we use for aour maniofld and the proper welding techniques adapted this maniofld will last the life of the car.
BTW we like the rainbow effect too

First thank you for your kind comments.
The manifold construction is ideal for our particular set up. I have outlined above the reasoin for this. I apologize but please refer to the above post for clarification.
The shop in jeresy will be up and running hopefully by the end of the month. I will PM and post details once we are up . Trust me. I will be very excited to do so. My partner Andy just got his new shop up and it looks great. Right now all fabbing is done there and the installs.
