I searched and found little answers.

I know people have ran these but I've yet to see any photos or how they actually were able to achieve this.

Anyone have any pictures of how the stock housing was modified to house this large pump?

 

This type of pump is usually mounted externally, not internally in the gas tank itself.

Some people leave the Walbro 255 in place to feed the Bosch 044.

yea, leave whatever pump you have in the tank and use this pretty little thing externally.

It will quite it down a load too.
