In today's economy and industry (always evolving) it isn't practical to stock up abundantly on something that may not sell next week. From a consumer stand point yes this sucks. From a business aspect, what if they release something new and the black is obsolete? You will then have a bunch of X parts laying around and will be wasted money.

This is BS. If FP is in the business of selling turbos, they should at least have an adequate amount of turbos to sell. What your saying is completly ignorant. Its like saying McDonalds should not keep stocked on fries in fear that consumers may all of a sudden only go to Wendys by the end of the week..not going to happen and its not going to happen to FP ...fact is there are only a few stock frame turbo options, FP being a popular one there is no way " they are going to be stuck with X amount of turbos" because the market is going to drastically change so fast that no one is going to buy a Black again... FAIL

Two months...are you kidding..that is unacceptable. They should at least compensate you in some way for your wait. First and last time i would do business with FP. its one thing if its a week or two.. but two months, this really shows some poor business management

I sent in my stock turbo to be converted to an FP Green years ago and it took 3 months. I ordered my Red and then Black straight out when they first debuted and got both within 2 weeks.

I sent my 9 turbo in and it took 6 weeks to get back and this was at the beginning of the year around end of February. I guess 5-7 weeks is normal

This happens EVERY TIME FP releases something new.

You have to face the fact that if you want something from FP, either be one of the first 10 or so to buy the ones they have made at the time they release a new product, or just wait it out until they are in stock.

I imagine the FP RED, which was once a 3 month wait, can now be over-nighted to you. About the time you guys start seeing your FP Black is about the time anybody else will be able to call up and get one sent out that day.
