Love the wait game. A local shop is currently stroking my 06 Evo 9 MR to a 2.3, probably be done in 2 weeks. We put a order in at MaPerformance for a FP Black approx 4 weeks ago. Guess they are on back order again.

Anyone else waiting on a New FP black ? I'm approx 4 weeks in, hope it comes in 2-3 weeks more.

Anyone have any idea's on average wait time or how long did yours take if/when it was on back order ?

 

I orderd about 6 weeks ago, told at least 4 more weeks.

 

wow thats some extreme wait times LOL. i got mine in one day back when they came out during christmas month as well LOL

 

I just got my hta green back from being upgraded. Three weeks door to door!

 

ya me too, i have number 12 haha i recieved mine a little earlier than most

 

i'm still waiting for mine..2 weeks in. a few days ago i got a email saying at least another week..FML

 

We're very sorry for the delays guys, we will do our best to communicate with you everything we hear from FP but it sounds like there is a delay on the manufacturing side

 

6 weeks.. that blows...waiting sucks..

It's understandable out of your control/hands. All the other stuff my shop ordered from you guys, we had right away. The only missing link is the Turbo, so I might end having to find a used evo 9 turbo and use that to break the engine in until the black comes to you guys.

Your guys O2/DP/Wastegate all in one we got looked really good/fabrication/quality.. etc .

 

I wonder if the delay on the manufacturing side is because they are altering the bearing set up.

 

fp turbos are worth the wait

 

FP makes good turbos, not good business decisions. They lost my business and that of my friends due to their inability to control their suppliers' time-frames and obligations. FAIL

ya i think im on week 4 myself... MA is good on everything else only thing else im waitn for besides the black is my tial bov and 2 omni 4 bars also... i too hate the waiting game but understand the fp situation i guess..

 

danmmit im about to buy fpmblack this week, hell no am not waiting that long
