After blowing my Red recently, I debated between a black and a ETS kit.....I didn't feel like waiting for a black, especially when i'm not convinced that it will last.

ETS 61mmBB kit still going 2+ years strong. hell damn thing pretty much bolted itself on.

I'd never go back to a stock frame.

Everything you need to bolt up for $2770.00

Price difference between the two. $521.00 or $1021 if you go ball bearing.. You be the judge

Michael

Pretty sure FP Black comes with Oil line Kit from most vendors including FP. Vendors like AWD motorsports will sell the Kit for 1900, Making it a Easy Bolt up 500-700 AWHP. Granted you have to wait for it. I'm pretty sure it has the Best Spoolup around.... but I am a noob. so Unless the 6262 spools are better or create more power I would understand why people would wanna pay 800-1500 Less and wait for a black . Feel Free to Flame or school me as I am newer at this

I am considering this but I love the stock appearance I have with the stock frame.

Wonder who has the most miles with a stock replacement turbocharger. FP Black, Red, CBRD, etc. Wondering how long they are lasting.

I really like ETS and their parts and service a lot but I think the reasons that most people go for the stock frame turbos would not be fulfilled by their kit. Black/Red/Green even BBK users bought their turbos with price in mind and a somewhat stock looking engine bay. A tubular manifold and $500-1000 extra doesn't quite fit the bill there. Stealth is a must for me here in Cali. Make a stock variant turbo and Im all over it. Just my .02

ours are doing great

we have road race cars with 20,000 + miles of combined street/track miles without issue.

CBRD....I'm not seeing the new bigger BBK turbo on your site. It is released for the Evo 8's and 9's correct? What's the price on it and can we use all the stock oil lines? I'm sure I could answer the second part of that question by searching. Maybe both questions. If you don't want to post it could you please pm me with the info. The FP horror stories are making me reconsider things.

This is absolute BS. FP is a business failure. I wish they would have at least had the decency to inform me when i placed my order that i wouldn't be receiving my product for what will be a month...i had to find this out after i called them wondering why i had not got any tracking or shipping confirmation...seriously, how can you not f...ing tell me that i will be waiting for a while when i'm placing my order..i should have spent an extra grand and went with a 6262 kit
