Very nice build, I like people doing the custom parts for their own uniqueness

Just picked up 12 yes 12 rx7 rims. 4 are the lighter non reinforced 13.8lb rim and the other 8 are the 15.2lb reinforced version.

I will be sending 4 of the rims out for powder coating next week. And then wrapping them in QTP tires. The other 8 rims are for a spare set and insurance incase the light weight rims crack but I am hoping there cracking issue comes from potholes and crappy bumps VS a high hp car and its rotational forces on the rims

I will still be attempting a 9sec pass on street tires " my current nitto555r" once this is completed then we add the E85 and slicks

yea thats a good deal considering the tires new are 800 bucks.

i got 12 rims for less then most pay for 4. so i couldnt pass it up.

i do notice a difference between the lighter and reinforced ones. but i think both sets should still work

ok well the good news is the car has been tuned today. what a day though. had some serious issues today and almost cost my self a motor. i got extremely lucky. on one of the pulls the exhaust cam gear came apart. the bolts fell out of it. luckily for me some stayed in and saved the gear from spinning completely. i would have trashed the motor. anyways will ''the tech at IVEYTUNE'' and quickly fixed the problem. he lock tighted all the bolts on the intake and exhaust gears and made sure there tight. i am removing these things ASAP and putting stock gears on. no way in hell well i live with this. anyways with some other minor setbacks the car is 100% complete. it is ready for the track. dont bother asking me for number's. i never display any of that stuff. ill just go to the track. i want to go tomorrow but it looks like rain so i may have to wait which sucks.

O YEA.
the OS giken. holy hell. ask sean. he know's i can throw a mean shift. i hope he will post in here about this because when i left the shop i did a 1,2,3 and i could not believe how quick it shifted. smoother then my QM ever did. ok sean. you said it. ''i told you so'' well ill say it. yea you was right.

now to launch the thing at the track and chase are 9 second goal. it finally has come after a long wait. now i cant wait to give it a shot. i hope everything holds up and we get this done.

it was funny when the pull was over sean said dude idk what happen AFR went from 11.6/8 to 13s. i told him it blew over. he look relieved.

i have new gear's coming but i am not sure when they will be here along with some other stuff like a set of rear axle's and some small bits just for insurance.

i am getting excited but yet nervous at the same time.
