BTW sick build dude. Love how the CCW's look on there! I look forward to your results at the track!
I got the Carbon Fiber shutters brand new from my buddy who bought them for 9sec9.com. I believe thats where you can get that from, if i remember brand new there around 250. Thanks dude! Dyno and track results to come this weekend!

Your Welcome Bud! I have not weighed the car yet at the moment. That is something i want to do towards the end of the week. I didnt even weigh it last year either. If i were to guess with me in it around 3,000 or a little less. I really dont know, i need to get it on the scales ASAP

I have never Clayed my car and i decided to do it over the weekend and man does it do a great job. After claying the car, it doesnt even look like it needs to be waxed! I love black cars, but they are definetly a pain to keep clean. Thanks man, I hope the first outing or too, I can crank some low 9s. That would be awesome!

Man, I would kill to have my car down to 3000lbs Another 300lbs out of my car would definitely help a lot! Mine weighed in at 3375lbs with me in it at the track. Ran 9.97 @145mph with it that way. I just can't gut myself to take anything out of the car though.

And ya man, clay bar does some crazy magic. But it takes a lot of time, and after a days worth of clay baring your arm and fingers feel like there going to fall off

I wonder how well your car is going to hook up now as compared to your black setup. Since the 6765 turbo is a bit laggier and shouldn't hit nearly as hard in 1st gear as your black did. I would assume your 60ft's are going to drop as well.

A long time ago my car was a heavy pig I just started to do some weight reduction slowly. Little by little, towards the end of last season i did some more and more reduction. But like you said i didnt wanna go crazy and make it a hacked up drag car. Right now my car is full interior minus the rear seats! I like the full weight appearing hahaha Clay bar is awesome im glad i used it, but ur right, after i was done my whole hands and arms were on fire. Def a good work out haha.

I wonder how its going to hook up now also. I cut a 1.42 last year on the CCWs and Hoosier QTPs. This year ill be on the 15" Rota Slips with the M/T ET Drag Full Slick. Im hoping to cut a 1.3 this season, thats another goal of mine, i dont think it will be too difficult.

nice dude! Only thing that does suck about the MT slicks is they are a bit heavier then the Hoosiers. I remember trying a set of MT slicks on my talon, and wow what a difference. I had to change everything how I launched the car. They just flat out stuck!! So much sidewall with the 15's. So pressures were a bit different then the hoosiers.

If you wouldn't mind, PM me what all you have taken out of the car, I don't wanna clutter up your thread anymore then I have, unless you wanna keep that on a down low.
But I definitely foresee some 1.3 60's with your car.

Havent Updated this thread since I made a new one!

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...mplete-8s.html

Car was on the Dyno Friday, and it put down on 40psi 747whp Car is crazy! We have plenty of more room to go in the tune and boost. However after we made 747 and tired for more, the stock 9 plugs werent holding up. Swapped them out for a new set and still broke up. Time to go with the NGK racing plugs and go back on the dyno at the end of the week. With more boost i dont see a problem her breaking 800whp Besides the 747 run, she put down 734. Cant wait for the end of the week to see what more she does after the new plugs. I am going to the track today to see what I can do. I havent launched or done a pull on this new setup yet. So tomorrow for the first couple runs im going to take a easy with the car. Get a feel for the car again then go all out! Tomorrow ill update both threads to let everyone know how the Junk Box is doing Below is the Video of the 747 run! Stay tuned for tomorrow!
