and the reason is because you cant compare race gas to 92-93octane with meth. that would maybe bump 92 to 98octane if you're lucky.. and meth is unreliable and can be extremely dangerous depending on the kit used and the person tuning it. ive had great results with meth back in 2005 and it was the best mod ive ever experienced to this day on a car, but i cant recommend it over e85 its not even close.. e85 is pretty much 100% race gas.

e85 hands down if its in your area... even when the % starts dropping in the fall/winter months to 80, 75, 70% ethanol, the logs still show the same results with a conservative tune, still no knock under high boost. I'm pushing my stocker to the max at 28+psi, filling it with about 72% winter blend. I love it I must admit, I generally only get 150m to the tank. Going to cycle it back to 93 eventually, just because of the cleaning effect for the injectors. Seen a number that seem to get black gunk accumulating on the injectors, which gas seems to clean off.

If your fuel system can support it, definitely E85. I have 40,000 miles on a water/meth kit that has worked great, but it's nothing like what you can do with corn.

The level should be found through trial (and hopefully little error). At some point you will be outside the compressors efficiency range. I would say get a safe tune at 25lbs or so and start working your way up.

Meth is NOT safer then E85 but it can be pretty safe with the right kit and install (See Richard from Aquamist UK on here).

If E85 is available......hands down the absolutely the best mod you can make to your car.

I ditched my meth kit when an E85 pump opened up by my house.

I'd take E85 any day of the week over Methanol Injection. I'm just hoping they open up an E85 station closer to my house.
