Looking to get back into the game

So after my last DSM I kinda lost touch with the modding community and now looking to get back in with an EVO. I have some reliability questions.
I am planning on getting one soon and before I start modding I wanted to do few snow trips in Tahoe. How reliable are stock high mileage Evo's? Is there a thread describing common issues and high mileage reliability? I did my search by the way.
I am looking at an 05 RS.

Thanks

there are a couple guys over 150,000 miles and one guy i know for sure over 200,000 on the stock blocks. id say that's reliable.

Any electrical, drivetrain or any other issues? How many people take them through the snow?
