Need advice on 02 dump???

Hey guys,

I was looking into some insight/theories whatever, on what to do about my 02 dump. I have everything I want as far as my set-up goes. I feel that my 02 dump is holding my car back a bit but I don't know by how much. I have an EPM 02 dump and I am seriously considering getting a FULL 3" version, kinda like the MAP 02 Eliminator or like a Shearer/RT Ernie dump. I need some insight into what type is better and if it will really be worth it.

thanks

What you have now is good changing to a different piece is just wasting your money for a 1/2 inch you not gonna pick up much..If you were gonna get one from the beginning I would not get the map one people were having some issues with boost creep..As far a the shearer /rt ernie setup it's a full 3inch v band style and requires removal of your ac to make it clear..Keep what you have and save your money for a different mod.

I'd be more concerned with wastegate flow than a large primary pipe. The little turbine wheel in stock frame turbines can pass only so much exhaust volume. A short 2.5" pipe right off the turbine is more than sufficient in 99% of the cars out there.

Our cleared the AC, but we don't offer it anyhow so it's a moot point.

well im having boost creep issues in my car and its such a pain, I though the dump might have been some cause of this since its a different diameter than the rest of the exhaust. I even tightened the wategate all the way. I don't know what it could be but I hate how the car feels down low as its spooling.

Im running EPM 3in DP O2 dump, if you are going to run a bigger factory size turbo gains will be better, if your staying factory turbo gains wont be as much until you do more mods, not sure of what you have done but ive seen FP Black/Red cars do better with them then just the regular o2 dump. Just my 2 cents.

Evo power Mods has pictures of theres on there website I know the owner he hand makes each of these so fitment is perfict.
