Man im pretty sure ur explaining the same issue as i have, once the cams where installed i had a little more vibration up top but only in neutral i have heard of other guys having the same issue also,

But in my case it doesnt seem like balance shaft as once in gear its smooth?

we seem to be on the same boat. I put my money on the balance timing and hopefully thats what it turns out to be. your slight vibration may be normal, but the vibration in my car can be felt throught the dash and engine after 3.5k.

I know when I upgraded cams, it was louder, with more vibration than the milder cams, I had before. Are you sure what you're hearing isn 't normal?

yes im quite sure its not normal another guy had a thread about the same exact problem im having so it seems to be the balance out of timing. i remember my friends evo with hks cams and was totally fine.

Has this mechanic done lots of timing belt jobs and cam swaps on 4g63's?

Your oil pump could be out of phase and causing the vibration your experiencing.

yes he had done numerous work on 4g's. but i just found out the newer guy was workin on my car not my mech. so he forgot to insert the pin in the tensioner and the oil pump was outta phase just like i figured! now the car runs great thanks for all the guys who helped
