So my car was idleing fine, I hit the 2-step idle was fine after then I hit it again and after I let off the car was idleing at 2.5k. I got out checked the tb, it was closed. All vac lines are connected no rips. I shut the car off and started it again and it was idleing fine, hit the 2 step again same thing happened. I shut the car off go in my house come back start the car and the idle shoots up to 2.5krpm right away and wont come down. Any idea's? And theres no idle screw on my tb.

Im thinking its the iacv, thoughts?

what kind of 2step are you using? (ign or fuel cut?)

i blew out my intake manifold gasket doing ignition cut flat shifting, there is a port from #4 cylinder exhaust port that goes to the intake manifold. Maybe that?

Ill check that. But I pulled the iacv and with the ignition on it doesnt do anything. Which from what I read up on iacv the motor should push out.

I was have some idle surge issues before where my idle would go up to 1500rpms from time to time.

 

i wanna say iacv. i just killed my second iacv. it was holding 2.5k rpm and it would rev up and down while turning thewheel
