The Misfire That Wouldnt Go Away! Help!
Hey I figured out how to get the logs and open them and everything. But yea, it didn't log some of the stuff that I wanted/thought it would. We'll have to log it again or something...I'm still a noob with evoscan. I think that's normal for the timing though, the logs look pretty close to the timing maps and it's a stock map so that should all be fine. I don't think it's timing belt related either because it will rev out fine if its not in 15ish+ psi, right? Lets get some good logs with more data and then we can post them up.

Just a few couple weeks ago I was having a similar issue with my car, in the logs the missfire would happen with a reducction in timing of like 10 - 12 degrees and there was no knock... It turned out to be the cam angle sensor. I also discovered though that the missfire would occur even when reving in neutral, so it wasn´t boost related at all.
Good luck,
Ricardo
Good luck,

mine seems to be directly boost related, feels like its blowing the spark out. but the coils check out good, and the plugs are factory, brand new and gapped at .020. gonna try throwing some parts at it tomorrow, and see what happens.
