If u have a stock head u dont need cams with more than 10,5mm lift.

wrong, 10.5mm of lift is nothing. you will benefit from more lift, even on stock head

NO, but it depends on where, as I stated before, the ex valve closes and int opens. 15 degrees ATDC and BTDC respectfully will be very close. Stock cams can make valves hit if timed too much

280 cam

Wow, I think this the theat Im looking for .

I am wondering to go with 280 or 272 cam with stock block.

I'm using gt3071r ATP kit with intercooler, injector, ect ect.
Now 460bhp , boost 1.8bar.

Thinking to do up the head stud(tomei), gasket (tomei 1.5mm) and throw in a set of 280 cosworth cam with valve spring, retainer or keford 280 cam and lastly a i hks Intake manifold.

Any advice ?

One more nerd question. I'm on ecutec reflashed
Can flashing (stock ecu)does the job on the new 280 or 272 cam.

Hope to hit over 530hp

Oh and bleed the lifters if your running a big cam if you don't bleed them the valves can hit the piston and screw stuff up go with 280s or 272s both are great I love my kelford 280s and jessvo what kind of cams do you have now?

I wouldn’t recommend using 280's on a stock bottom end. Those cams are very aggressive. Your valves probably hit the pistons.

Got the car back a few days ago. The car runs good after the install and tune. The power is very noticeable and the dyno showed.

If I ever get a scanner Ill post the dyno results.

458HP
397TQLB

I'm pretty impressed with results. I had head port matched a few years ago and the new cams really show. After the tune and cams I made an additional 37HP. We also did some minor MIVEC adjustments and were able to broaden the midrange. The 280 cams initially dropped the mid-range torque by 11lbtq's! After the MIVEC adjustment we recovered 9lbtq with only a 1HP loss on the top.

So now the next step will be fortifying the block. Perhaps later in the year after some track time. Ill keep this updated as things develop.

Low wtq? Your wtq is similar to my wtq with my cc 272 on stock 8 turbo @ 25psi.

Ugh, that was a typo. Fixed now. Supposed to have put 397, not 367.
