How to get great response with stock turbo?

Hi Guys,
i just wonder on how to get our ride responsive without lag and drop in power during shifting like those japs touge cars beside getting strocker, changing gear ratio and bigger turbo?

I saw a video clip in youtube which most of the the touge cars listed spec's shown is without big turbo & big horse which average is about 320whp~400whp...

Wanted to know so much how they get the immediate power whenever they pedal their ride?

Here the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j_VJ...layer_embedded

Most of the Jap cars have true antilag its not practical for daily driving, If you add a bigger turbo its only going to make it worse...

If you are not happy with the minimal lag in your car see if a member near you who has a single scroll 35R or bigger turbo will let you drive it.

If you are unhappy with the response of your car you can add cams, and get everything air flows through ported, polished, and coated. You could get lightweight internal rotating assembly parts to increase response.

There are also anti-lag tuning options available which would help with boost drop btw shifts.

i believe those cars have a true anti lag setup, which keeps them spooling which reduces the lag time. i could be wrong though and would love to hear more about this if someone with knowledge of these can chime in.

Can an ANTI LAG system be turn on or off without required a tune from the ecu?

I believe the antilag needs to be programmed and in some cases i do believe there is a switch for it. i dont have too much knowledge about this though and would love if a tuner can chime in i think we are all curious about this haha.

I dont know what car you are talking about specifically...
yes they use stroker, different turbo along with ECU management. If the ECU tuning includes some sort of anti lag, only people with direct knowledge of the car would know.

HOWEVER, (response to post 3)
"Jap" Evos do NOT have anti lag...anti lag needs air injection and lots of negative timing. Stock evos do not have this activated.
"touge cars"?

Anti lag is used mainly for rally cars...where lower speeds and RPMS are prevalent. Circuit cars, such as the cyber evo etc, do not need it as the RPMs and higher speeds negate the need.

Also remember in Japan they use 93 octane and above...for stockish cars would make a big difference.

gsc motorsports s1 cams/ stock headers ported and polished send it to MAP/ send stock turbo to CBRD to get built. then you could go with 1000cc injectors or meth/H20 injection... and top it off with a good certified tune. You will be sure to b pushing 400awhp in no time. with good response & torque.

A stroker will help a TON and also a quick spool valve, but both seem like overkill on a stock turbo, to me atleast.

Is it just me or does anybody else find it amusing that Touge is pronounced "too gay"? It all makes complete sense now!
