I just purchased my 2011 GSR. One thing worries me. When i go to visit my family in southern AZ the speed limit is 75 mph and I travel at 80mph at 4000 rpm. I feel like the engine is screaming at me. I am keeping my evo stock as to keep my warranty. So my question is should i be worried about running my rpms so high all the time? Would it be a bad idea to take it with me when i visit my family in TX? (600 miles away). I just need to put my mind at ease because I am in love with this car. THanks in advance.

but either way if its stock and has warranty there is nothing to worry about..............for now

 

i wouldnt worry about it. im at about 4 if not more in 5th gear when im on the highway all the time..my car has 80k miles on it now. i know your cars and evo 10 and mines an 8 but that still shouldnt make a difference. mitsu dosnt make the cars for pure racing or w.e they still gotta make things driveable
