Tcase/tranny/diff fluids

Hey guys.

So my Tcase went bad a couple weeks back and Im now swapping it out.

While the car is jacked up I figure, why not change all the fluids while im down there. I researched the fluid for the tcase and from im hearing the Diaqueen GL5 LSD gear oil is the best stuff.

I want to hear others opinion on what to put into the tcase, tranny, and rear diff.

also if there is a certain way to change the tcase oil, the tranny oil, and the rear diff let me kno.

pm me or just reply to thread please

Personally in the tcase and rear diff I only use mitsubishi's diaqueen gear oil.

For my trans I've been using the pennzoil synchromesh.

And the way I fill is by going to NAPA and they have a pump that fits over the 1qt. bottles and I just pump the fluid into the trans and tcase.

Every 15,000 for all...prob a bit soon...but I like to keep things well lubricated and new fluids in as much as possible...

I aim for every 15-20k miles/annually.

transmission: Redline cocktail (2xMT90 + 1xMTL for the Evo VIII/IX 5-speed)
trasfer case: Diaqueen 90W LSD
rear differential: Diaqueen 90W LSD

i swapped all my fluids out for amsoil products and have had not regrets. no noise at all from the tc and also shifts are better. when i drained all the old fluids out, i was horrified at what came out of the front and rear diffs. it wasnt even liquidy anymore and just oozed out. from my personnal experience, i like amsoil.

Been covered to death on here but what has worked flawless for me and my abusive driving for over 130k

Pennzoil Syncromesh in the tranny
Diaqueen LSD in the TC and rear diff.

I would not even consider any other fluids.

Procedure for refilling the transfer case is very very important as it is very easy to underfill.
Personally i remove the top plate (4x 10mm bolts) and fill through there, a full quart.
Drive for 20mins then pull out the "fill" plug and let it drain to the correct level

Motul or Amsoil for all my fluids. Never had a problem and never expect to.
