Replacing Evo9 Clutch for $1800 reasonable??
this is one of the next things i wanna attempt on my ride... but havent yet... 3 clutchs so far... stock at dealer was 1800ish with entire assembly. exede twin carbon at pro shop 950 with machine work and TB. and again stock clutch at dealer and two tranny seals the pro shop popped for 2200...
what u should do is check the regional forums on here, i think there's fftec kinda close, check west region maybe u could pay someone on here thats done it before to help u but i would check out FFTEC
OMFG dude do not go to Mach III for any sort of large job like that....I am from San Francisco too. Dude man those guys just sell wheels and roll fenders are you seriously going to have them do a clutch job? Take your car to Speed Element or GST. Those are local shops that know what they are doing. 500-600 for labor is about right. Mach III doesn't know how to do real mechanical work...please don't be clueless man
Check out speed element (www.speedelement.com). They are in the bay area and have a great reputation with evos. I was going to have them do my clutch for my VIII and I live in Reno, NV lol.
Thanks everyone for the heads up. I'll definitely check them up. I'm glad I asked before going to them....
i love this forum compared I was belong to RSX forum that they only BS and so on.

Dam thats alot. I bought my ACT XTSS for 5xx and the DSM god (if you owned a dsm then you should know who im talking about, lives in PA) is going to change it for $500 with fluids and a resurface of the stock flywheel.
^^^WTF does that statement have to do with anything? pointless. I used to live in Cali and I would always take my car to gst. They built my stroker and have done several things for me including a clutch job. Good price and good people
