Replacing Evo9 Clutch for $1800 reasonable??
if it doesn't i would look into spending the extra couple of bucks for a replacement. either new OE or aftermarket (aftermarket is probably cheaper).
be careful that the machine shop doesn't take too much off the flywheel or you will get a crazy high engagement point like i had.
mitsubishi suggests replacement instead of machining, but countless people have had good luck with resurfacing as long as they flywheels are only skimmed.

Oh, so by the calculation, GST charge the same as FFTec but without flywheel, so if you looking for a $280 flywheel plus $1460 = $1740 similar to FAXON while FFTec includes clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, fluids, and other small stuff for $1490 out the door which sounds better. if you had it done at FFTec, you would've got a new flywheel already.
