What is the best Turbo for my Engine Set Up?

Hi Guys,
can anyone advise me what is the best turbo for my current engine set up as im looking at 380~450whp with great response and minimum lag.
1) 85.5mm piston
2) GSC S2 cams
3) Profect B Boost Controller
4) Walbro 255 F/P
5) FPR
6) 2.25 inches I/C piping
7) 600mm 300mm x 70mm I/C
8) BC rods
9) 560cc injector
10) Stock intake and TB
11) Exhaust manifold with Turbosmart 38mm wastegate

Please do advise me on what areas to improve when upgrading the turbo.

Thanks

A FP green will get you around 400whp maybe more but that would be reaching its limit on pump gas. Maybe a FP Red would be more ideal

I've been doing a lot of research in this area as well as I'm also in the market to upgrade turbo's. I've been reading great things about CBRD and their BBK's. Sounds like a BBK full will be right up your alley. I'd also recommend upgrading injectors.

Best of luck

if your staying under 500whp, go with the hta fp green. pump will get you 400whp and on e85 475-500whp.

Full boost by 3.8-4k rpm.

get precision 1200cc injectors just incase you do plan on going e85 down the line. You might beable to squeeze by with just a single fuel pump on stock lines for 30-31 psi.

Thank you so much guys but how about Precision 3431 57mm T3/T4 turbo from Precision?

Is this turbo laggy on my current engine set up?

Lastly,what C.c injector should i go for a 380~450whp and this turbo?

Thanks

thats a lazy cast wheel turbo.. i would even consider a t3 for your goals as my 10th choice of turbos..

Hi Mike, so you mean i better opt for other brand turbos instead of this?

How about GT35 will it be laggy on a 2.0ltr engine and what is the best CC injector to go for a 380~450whp?

Or should i mod my current turbo to TD06SL2-20G?

I see your keen on a T3 frame Turbo...

I noticed you have a built motor and it looks it might be properly sorted to Rev more than stock:

~85.5mm piston
~BC rods

~GSC S2 cams

Also looks like you have a T3 Manifold or maybe easy flange change to T3 footprint:

~Exhaust manifold with Turbosmart 38mm wastegate

Hmmnmnnn

For under 500HP I would say HKS7460 / Green HTA or FP RED like every one else is saying...

If your limited to Pump Fuel most of the time and dont have access to E85, dont mind some lag or revving to 8500rpm now and then...

FP HTA30R
GTX3071R
GTX3076R

Those would be my choices for T3 frame... 550HP capable and if you want more later on GTX35R is an upgrade option...

Thanks Supersal and honestly i dont have any clue on T3,T4 or whatsoever trim on a turbo...Im totally no knowledge on turbos selection and honestly, i would hope to find a more budget turbo and i know a friend who is selling off his GT35 ball bearing and i wonder will this turbo suite my application?
Im only revving up max to 7,200rpm

Ok a 35R is an awsome turbo but it will be laggy T3 .63 full boost as late as arround 5000rpm even...

Its capable of making 600HP+

If you check Dyno Thread section STM has produced some awsome Street Evo's making 500HP + stock Block on 35R set-ups

For your power goals to be honest the 35R, as awsome as it is, sounds like overkill - if I was forced to reccomend you a budget T3/T4 frame turbo then it would be a Garrett 50Trim ball bearing... Blouch has them brand new for like $1000
